Ungureanu cabinet

The Cabinet was the first Ungureanu Mihai Razvan Ungureanu formed by Government of Romania. The government replaced the Boc Cabinet II. The 18 cabinet members were from the February 9, 2012 to May 7, 2012 at the office. This was followed by the Cabinet Ponta.

Government parties were the Liberal Democrat Partidul (PD -L), the National Progress Union ( UNPR ) and the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania ( UDMR ).

After less than three months in office, failed Ungureanus government in a successful vote of no confidence in Parliament, which of the parties Partidul Social Democrat ( PSD) and Partidul Naţional Liberal (PNL ) had been introduced. The center-right coalition was accused that it would be blackmailed in the allocation of public funds by lobby groups. In the previous weeks, many members of the ruling Liberal Democrat Partidul (PDL ) had defected to the opposition. The PDL was advised due to their rigid austerity of the last four years in the criticism that had comprises wage and pension cuts and tax increases.
