The University at Albany, UAlbany short, is a University of New York, a state of the United States, in Albany. With around 17,000 students, it is a great location of the State University of New York.

The University Albany was founded in 1844 as the State Normal School and renamed several times in its history.

The sports team are the UAlbany Great Danes. The University is a member of the America East Conference.
