The University of Tromsø (Norwegian: Universitetet i Tromsø) in Tromsø, with approximately 8,800 students and 2,500 employees, the fourth largest university in Norway and the northernmost university in the world.

The University of Tromsø has approximately 8,800 students and is divided into six faculties and four research centers that offer a total of 150 courses. The Norwegian Fisheries College is an independent institution of higher education in conjunction with the University of Tromsø.
