Until One is the first studio album by the Swedish House Mafia Swedish House band.

Publication

Until One first appeared on 22 October 2010, shortly after the release of their third single Miami 2 Ibiza, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Sweden as a CD and digital download. On 25 October 2010, it was then released in the United States. It was recorded from 2009 to 2010. The album can be found next to his own songs and cover versions, collaborations of band members or remixes. The album was produced by the trio themselves and released on the record label Virgin Records and Polydor.

Singles

Three singles were released from the album:

  • Leave the World Behind was released as the first single from the album on 1 June 2009 was not yet under the name Swedish House Mafia. It was recorded together with Laidback Luke and Deborah Cox. The song reached number 39 of the Swedish single charts.
  • One ( Your Name ), a vocal version of instrumental Track One, they recorded with Pharrell Williams. It was the second release from the album and appeared on 23 July 2010 in Germany. It reached number 41 in Germany, in Austria No. 25, in Switzerland number 13, number seven in the UK and in Sweden eleventh place.
  • Miami 2 Ibiza was the third and final single from the album. It includes vocals from Tinie Tempah and was released for sale on October 1, 2010. It reached number 46 in Germany, in Austria No. 36, in Switzerland number 19, number four in the UK and in Sweden tenth place.

Reception

The album received mixed reviews. The calculated by Metacritic average of 54 out of 100 possible points. Mikael Wood of Billboard gave example with 76 points from a positive rating. Tim Sendra of Allmusic said that not every " DJ Dream Team " would be willing to produce such a mix album, and that it would be hard to criticize Swedish House Mafia, as their music would be a "blast ". Joe Zadeh Clash gave a very negative review, wondered what the trio would become and described the album as trash ( German waste). He forgave only one of ten possible points.
