( Untitled ) is the ninth album by the American folk rock band The Byrds, the tenth if you count their Greatest Hits album. It was released on 16 September 1970 to the label, Columbia Records. In the United States the album was # 40 on the pop charts in the UK No. 11 In ( Untitled ) is a double album, the first half consists of live recordings of various concerts, the second half contains studio recordings.

( Untitled ) is considered the best of the later Byrds albums, also it was the last album with a new line-up: After John York was fired in September 1969 from the band, Skip Battin now took the place on bass.

On October 23, the only single from the album was released. Chestnut Mare made ​​it in the States not chart, rose in the UK but surprisingly to No. 19 B-side was Just a Season. The 16 -minute live version of Byrd 's classic Eight Miles High was also popular with the so-called " Progressive Rock Radio", a radio format which also starred alongside singles pure albums tracks.
