Ušće (Kraljevo)

Ušće (Cyrillic: Ушће ) is a village in western Serbia. The village is situated on the banks of the river Ibar, his name means in German river mouth.

Geography

Ušće is the Opština Kraljevo in Okrug Raška. Surrounded by woods village is located at the mouth of the river Ibar in the Studenica. In addition, the village is also on the river Raduša. The village is 338 meters above sea level in the central part of the Ibar valley.

History

When the village was founded, is not known. In the Serbian Orthodox Monastery Studenica are records that the monastery was bought in 1781 at a resident of Ušće a vineyard.

One of the most important people of the village was the dealer Lazar Prokić of Studenica. He moved in 1882 to the village. Opština Ušće

Population

The village lies in the Opština Kraljevo, Raška in Okrug. Ušće in the census had 2002 2040 inhabitants, while there were 1991 1958 inhabitants.
