Vaisi ( German Waissa ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Nõva ( Nõva vald ) in Lääne in Estonia.

Description

The village has 35 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It lies thirty kilometers north-east of the district capital of Haapsalu.

The area belonged since the 14th century the nunnery of Lihula. 1402 the village was placed under the monastery Padise as part of a land swap under the name Waisoe or Wayse.
