Vallerois - Lorioz is a commune in Haute -Saône in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Vallerois - Lorioz situated at an altitude of 356 m above sea level, about 7 km south of Vesoul (air line). The village is located in the central part of the department, on a hill in the northeast of the basin of Vellefaux in the rolling countryside stretching to the southeast between the valleys of the Saone in the northwest and Ognon.

The area of ​​6.31 km ² municipal area includes a portion of the area hills south of Vesoul. The central part of the area occupied by a hollow which is an average 330 m. It has a width of about 1.5 kilometers and is oriented southwest-northeast direction. Here predominant agricultural use, while the surrounding hills are mostly covered with forest. History
