Velký Malahov

Velky Malahov ( German Großmallowa ) is a municipality with 263 inhabitants in Okres Domažlice in the Czech Republic. It is located in western Bohemia east of Sedmihoří ( Seven Mountains) and 13 km north- west of Holýšov.

History

The village Großmallowa was first mentioned in 1379. The place was the parish after Hochsemlowitz, 1889 was the consecration of a church as a branch church. 1904 a schoolhouse was built and established in 1940 a volunteer fire department. After the Second World War, the German inhabitants were expelled.
