Victor Mihaly de ApÅŸa

Victor Mihali also Mihályi Victor de Apsia ( born May 19, 1841 in Ieud, Maramures county, Hungary, now in Romania, † January 21, 1918 in Blaj ) was Romanian Greek Catholic Archbishop of Fagaras and Alba Iulia.

Life

After primary school in his hometown, he attended the Gymnasium in Oradea Piaristen; After leaving school he studied in Trnava and Kosice. The Bishop of Gherla, Ioan Alexi, history him to study theology at the Pontifical Greek College of St. Athanasius in Rome and as a fellow of Pius IX Foundation.
