In the administration of Community Vierberge - Teucherner Land of Burgenland circle eight municipalities were merged to perform their administrative business. The administrative headquarters was located in the city Teuchern. On 1 January 2011, the administrative community was dissolved and formed from the former member communities the new city and united community Teuchern.

The management community was formed four mountains and Teucherner country on 1 January 2005 from the defunct management communities. On 1 July 2007 came from the administrative community Zeitz country the community Deuben added.

On 1 January 2009 the municipality Leißling moved to the administrative community Weißenfelser country.
