Viktor Rashchupkin

Viktor Ivanovich Raschtschupkin (Russian Виктор Иванович Ращупкин, English transcription Viktor Rashchupkin, . Born October 16, 1950 in Kamensk- Uralski, Sverdlovsk Oblast ) is a former Russian discus thrower, who competed for the Soviet Union. At a height of 1.88 m his competition weight was 107 kg.

In 1979 he became Soviet champion, after he had finished second last year.

His only international success was winning the gold medal at the 1980 Olympic Games with a personal best of 66.64 m. Was second with 66.38 m Imrich Bugár from Czechoslovakia before Luis Delis from Cuba with 66,32 m.
