Viktor Skrypnyk

Victor Anatoljevich Skripnik (Ukrainian Віктор Анатолійович Скрипник; born November 19, 1969 in Nowomoskowsk, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast ) is a former Ukrainian football player and current coach.

Career

Skripnik began his career at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and played until 1996 in various clubs in the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha. In summer 1996 it undertook Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. Quick established himself his nickname " Beckham of Ukraine", which was proclaimed by the announcer at the announcement of the team's formation, even before the start of each game. Just three years later he was able to celebrate with the club winning the DFB Cup. Although Skripnik in his later years in Bremen lost his starting place, he remained a favorite with audiences - not least because of his club loyalty and practicality.
