Villarino de los Aires

Template: Infobox church in Spain / Maintenance / Province Villarino de los Aires is a North Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile -Leon. The village of Cabeza de Framontanos belongs to the municipality of Villarino.

Location

Villarino de los Aires is located in the extreme northwest of the province of Salamanca, at an altitude of about 600 meters above sea level. inst in the rocky landscape of the Natural Park Arribes del Duero near the Duero river formed by the border with Portugal. The only about ten kilometers in a straight line, but some 23 km away Travel Distance neighboring Fermoselle is located in the province of Zamora. Demographics

Economy

History

The place was after his reconquest ( Reconquista ) from the hands of the Moors and the subsequent repopulation ( repoblación ) border town with Portugal.
