Viloco

Viloco is a village in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Viloco is the most populous town in the county ( bolivian: Municipio) Cairoma in the province Loayza. The village lies at an altitude Viloco of 3660 m at a right tributary of the Río Luribay in one of the eastern valleys of the Serranía de Sicasica.

Geography

Infrastructure

Viloco is located 185 kilometers by road from La Paz, the capital of the department of the same name.

From La Paz the paved highway Ruta 1 leads south across El Alto to the south. Twelve kilometers south of El Alto branches off a country road to the southwest and follows the Río Cala Jahuira twenty kilometers upstream. From there branches off a dirt access road from the northeast and reached after a further 35 km Sapahaqui.
