Vincent DePaul Breen

Vincent DePaul Breen ( born December 24, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, USA; † 30 March 2003) was Bishop of Metuchen.

Life

Vincent DePaul Breen received on 15 July 1962, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On July 8, 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Metuchen. The Archbishop of Newark, Theodore Edgar McCarrick, donated to him on 8 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Brooklyn, Thomas Vose Daily, and the Bishop Emeritus of Metuchen, Edward Thomas Hughes.

On January 4, 2002 Vincent DePaul Breen resigned as Bishop of Metuchen.
