Vítor Norte

Vítor Manuel Ribeiro Norte ( born January 29, 1951 in Borba ) is a Portuguese actor.

Life

After the completion of the business school in Estremoz he tore from the age of 17 years from home and went to Lisbon. There he took various odd jobs, including Driver for a catering company at Lisbon Portela Airport. Following a newspaper advertisement, he signed up for a casting for dancers one revue theater piece. The choreographer recognized talent in him, and persuaded him to a ballet training. He enrolled at the School of Ana Mascolo and studied classical ballet.

In January 1972 he stood for the first time on a theater stage, in the Revue play Os Quatro cubes in the Casa da Comédia, staged by director Herlander Peyroteo. As part of the Picadilly Stars Ballet he still danced one season in P'rá Frente Lisboa at the Teatro Monumental, then he was drafted by the Estado Novo regime for military service. He was assigned to Guinea -Bissau in the Portuguese Colonial War. After almost three years, he returned in 1975 from the military back, and went back to the Revue, the Teatro Monumental.
