Vladimir Kuznetsov (athlete)

Vladimir Dmitrievich Kuznetsov (Russian: Владимир Дмитриевич Кузнецов, English transcription Vladimir Kuznetsov, . Born April 2, 1931 in Leningrad † August 29, 1986 ) was a Soviet javelin thrower.

At the European Athletics Championships in Berne in 1954 he won the silver medal, and in 1958 he was sixth Denem.

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, he was sixth, 1956 in Melbourne twelfth and 1964 in Tokyo eights.

In 1961 he was a Soviet champion.
