Vladislav Otmakhov

Vladislav Valeryevich Otmachow (Russian Владислав Валерьевич Отмахов; * May 29, 1974 in Sverdlovsk, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who played in his time from 1992 to 2011, among other things Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Continental Hockey League. Since end of his career he worked as a hockey coach.

Career

Vladislav Otmachow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Junost Yekaterinburg. From there he moved to the city neighbors Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg, for the first team, he was active in the International Hockey League from 1992 to 1995. For the 1995/96 season the defender moved to the league rivals ZSK WWS Samara. Then he returned to Yekaterinburg. With his club, which had changed its name to Spartak and then Dynamo-Energy in the meantime, he played from then on in the IHL follow- League Super League, but had his team suffered relegation to the second division in the 1997/98 season.

In the 1998/99 season Otmachow succeeded with Dynamo-Energy Yekaterinburg direct promotion back to the Super League. From 2000 to 2006 he was at Molot Perm - Prikamye under contract, in which he also came to twelve inserts for Sputnik Nizhny Tagil second division in the 2002/03 season. With Perm he played predominantly in the Super League, only in the season 2003/ 04 he joined the club in the league to second-rate Wysschaja. As a second-division champion but he succeeded with Molot - Prikamye the direct re- emergence as second division champions. After the renewed decline in the 2005/06 season, he joined the second division Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. With Torpedo he rose in the season 2006/ 07 right off the bat as a master of Wysschaja League in the Super League on.

For the 2008/09 season Otmachow returned to his hometown, where he received a contract with the second division Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg, the unofficial successor club of Dynamo-Energy Yekaterinburg. After its inclusion in the year before, founded Continental Hockey League, Otmachow stood between 2009 and 2011 in the KHL on the ice before he finished his career.

He then took over the head coaching job at Burewestnik Yekaterinburg from the Perwaja League and oversaw this team until the end of season 2011/12. He was then obliged by Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg as assistant coach. In 2013, he oversaw again Burewestnik Yekaterinburg.
