Wakaso Mubarak ( born July 25, 1990 in Tamale ) is a Ghanaian football player.

Career

Mubarak began his professional career after he had spent his youth at SC Adelaide, 2007 Ashanti gold in the Ghana Premier League. In 2008 he moved to the Spanish second lists FC Elche. After three years, Mubarak went to league rivals FC Villarreal B. By good performance of the Ghanaians was promoted to the A-team and was on 27 February 2011 his debut in the Primera División, as a 2-2 draw against Racing Santander he José Catala was brought on. In summer 2012, he moved to Espanyol, where he became a regular player.

2005 Mubarak took part with the U- 17 national team of Ghana at the World Youth Championship in Peru, where he played two games and retired with the team after the preliminary round. On October 13, 2012 Mubarak announced in a 1-0 victory over Malawi his debut in the senior national team of Ghana, on 14 November 2011, he scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Cape Verde. In January and February 2013, the midfielder was in the squad at the African Cup of Nations in South Africa, where he scored four goals in five games.
