Walking on a Thin Line (english about to move on a narrow ridge ') is the third album by the German rock band Guano Apes.

Formation

Three years have passed before the third album Walking on a Thin Line was released. The plan it was for the summer of 2002, but delayed the production and in February 2003, the album was finally released. In the summer of 2002, the Guano Apes were on a European tour. The first songs were recorded in Hannover and Celle. End of July 2002, she had finished the actual recording of the album. Besides, they still played a couple of open-air festivals in Portugal and Russia. In August and September 2002, the band turned in smaller studios in Cologne and Hamburg her album. On September 12, they presented five completed songs on the album a few journalists.

You Can not Stop Me

The first single You Can not Stop Me, and was published on 6 January 2003. In Germany, it debuted at number ten of the singles charts. Dennis is a knife thrower, Henning, a fire-eater and Stefan jumps at the end of the video out of the arena. The director was Joern Heitmann.

Pretty in Scarlet

With Pretty in Scarlet, appeared on 7 April 2003, the second single from Walking On a Thin Line. The highest chart position in Germany was ranked 51 In addition, songs are on the single You Can not Stop Me as G -Ball & Kaa Remix, Pretty in Storm as G -Ball & Kaa Remix and Pretty in Scarlet as the album version. Also a multimedia part is available. It was also released as a 3 -Track Maxi - standard. This song is one of the few ballads the band and was recorded in home studios in Hamburg. It was one of the first songs of the album. At the end of the song lines are quotes from three senior titles of Guano Apes and fully integrated in Pretty in Scarlet. The video was shot in March 2003 in Potsdam. Again, Joern Heitmann was director.

Quietly

The third single Quietly was released on 21 July 2003.
