Walter Stern ( born February 6, 1972 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian skeleton pilot.

Walter Stern was trained in his career, among others, Alexander Müller and Michael Green Berger. In December 1996, Stern made ​​his debut in the World Cup in a race in Koenigssee, where he was 27. A year later he came in ninth in La Plagne for the first time in the Top 10 in a World Cup race.
