Cheeks is a district of the town Nebra (Unstrut ) in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

The village lies on both banks of the Unstrut on the connecting road of Nebra (Unstrut ) to Memleben midst of a conservation area.

History

Cheeks is caused by the took place on July 20, 1950 merger of the formerly independent municipality of upper and lower cheeks.

In a resulting 881-899 Directory of tithing of Hersfeld Monastery cheeks was first mentioned as requiring a tenth place in the frieze field in a document [ small ].
