Wełdkowo

Wełdkowo ( German name United Voldekow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the municipality Tychowo ( Tychowo ) in a circle Białogard ( Belgard ).

Geographical Location

Wełdkowo located 37 kilometers southeast of the county town Białogard and eleven kilometers northeast of Tychowo on the province road 169 ( Białogard - ) Byszyno ( Boissin ) - Tychowo - Głodowa ( Goldbeck ) (- Bobolice ( Bublitz ) ). The nearest railway station is on the railway line Tychowo Szczecinek - Kolobrzeg.

Ortskunde

Great Voldekow was until 1928 an independent Gutsbezirk, the (now Polish: Warnino ) then in the newly formed rural community Warnin was incorporated. The community Warnin formed until 1945 together with the community Kowalk ( Kowalki ) the official, registry office and police district Warnin in District Court in the district area Belgard Belgard ( Persante ).

In early March 1945, the site was occupied by Russian troops. Great Voldekow came as a result of the war in Polish hands. The German population was expelled, and the town is now under the name Wełdkowo part of Gmina Tychowo in powiat Białogardzki.

Church

Until 1945, the United Voldekow in the parish Schwellin (now Polish: Świelino ) and belonged to the parish church circle Bublitz ( Bobolice ) in the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union. The church patronage was responsible Rittergutsbesitzer Holtz.

Today Wełdkowo is integrated into the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
