Wickham (Western Australia)

Wickham is an Australian town situated 1572 kilometers north of Perth, 33 kilometers from Karratha and 13 kilometers north of Roebourne in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

The first buildings of the city were added in 1970 at the Cliffs Robe River for employees of the iron ore mine Pannawonica lying on Cape Lambert and is owned by Rio Tinto Group, built. The iron ore produced is shipped from Port Walcott from. Most of the houses and buildings of the town are also owned by Rio Tinto.

Wickham was originally self-administered, but the municipal administration was in 1980, as a public building was built in the village, built in the Shire of Roebourne.
