Look at Wiler in Loetschental

Wiler ( Lötschen ) is a municipality in the district west Raron in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It is one of the four municipalities of the Lötschental next Ferden, Kippel Blatten.

In 1900, the so-called " Red blessing Sonntag" (June 17 ) was almost down the whole village by fire to ashes.

From Wiler performs opened in 1972, aerial cableway to the holiday village and Alpe Lauchernalp in almost 2000 m height.

Wiler is the location of the primary school Loetschental. Even the kindergarten of the valley communities in Wiler. The orientation school is located in the neighboring village of Kippel.
