William James Mayo

William James Mayo ( born June 29, 1861 in Le Sueur, Minnesota, † July 28, 1939 in Rochester, Minnesota ), called Will Mayo, was an American surgeon and co-founder of the Mayo Clinic.

Career

Mayo made ​​the receiving his degree in medicine in 1883 at the University of Michigan.
