William Orbit

William Orbit, sometimes written as William Orbit, (* December 15 1956 in Shoreditch, London as William Mark Wainwright ) is a British music producer. He is known for his characteristically - atmospheric style of his electronic music.

Career

Orbit worked with Madonna on her album Ray of Light, with Katie Melua of The House, as well as with Britney Spears, Blur, Melanie C, the All Saints (Pure Shores and Black Coffee ), Pink and the Sugababes. Particularly well known is his remix of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings 's most popular work.
