Willie Anderson (basketball)

Willie Lloyd Anderson Jr. ( born January 8, 1967 in Greenville, South Carolina ) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played nine seasons in the NBA on the position of the Shooting Guards; the longest time of it for the San Antonio Spurs.

He is the former NBA player Shandon Anderson and the father of Alex Anderson, a player at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga 's older brother.

Playing career

After he attended the University of Georgia, Anderson was drafted in the NBA Draft 1988, 10 out of the Spurs.
