Wolfgang Plottke

Wolfgang Plottke ( born July 31, 1948 in Klein Lukow ) is a retired German rower, who won the 1972 Olympic bronze medal in the coxless four.

The rowers from the rowing club Marl was in 1969 with Peter Funnekötter second at the German Championships in the coxless pairs. 1970 were the two rowers along with Joachim Ehrig and Claus Schneggenburger a quad. At the World Championships in St. Catherines this Canadian foursome came behind the boat from SC Einheit Dresden to the finish and won the silver medal. 1971 Franz moved hero for Schneggenburger into the boat. In the occupation Plottke, Heroes, Funnekötter, Ehrig the boat finished at the European Championships in Copenhagen in third place behind the Dresden quad and boat from Norway. At the 1972 Olympics in Munich, West German foursome drove in the same cast as last year and once again took the third place, it won the Dresdner four front of the boat from New Zealand. 1973 won Funnekötter and Plottke with the aft of RK on Baldeneysee Eating the German championship title.
