The Yakutat Airport ( IATA code: YAK, ICAO code: PAYA ), English Yakutat Airport is a civilian airport 6 km southeast of Yakutat, Alaska.

History

The airport was opened in 1940, served at this time for military purposes. The Yakutat Army Airfield had so with the United States Army established a basis to protect Alaska during World War II can.
