Yana Maksimava

Jana Maksimawa (White Russian Яна Максімава, English transcription Yana Maksimava, . Born January 9, 1989 in Vilnius ) is a Belarusian heptathlete.

She won the silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2008. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 she placed 34th and at the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona the 18th Place.

When pentathlon the IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championships 2012 in Istanbul, she was eighth. At the Olympic Games in London, she improved to 6198 points and was ranked 17th in March 2013, it won at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden the silver medal in the pentathlon with a new personal best of 4658 points.
