Yann M'Vila (also Mvila, * June 29, 1990 in Amiens ) is a French football player. The defensive midfielder is currently with the Russian first division club Rubin Kazan under contract. His older brother Yohan is a professional footballer.

Club career

The son of Congolese parents grew up in the Quartier du Pigeonnier, a large housing estate on the outskirts of Amiens, and played as a teenager, first for the SC Amiens. In 2004 he moved with 14 years in the school talent from Stade Rennes. The Bretons, he was 2007 A French Youth Champion and won the following year, the Coupe Gambardella, to which he contributed one goal in the final itself. In the following season he became a regular in the reserve of Stade, which took in the fourth- highest division, the Championnat de France amateur. In August 2009, M'Vila came on as a substitute for his first competitive game use in Profielf; a week later, coach Frédéric Antonetti presented him already in their starting lineup. This position M'Vila admitted until the end of the 2009/10 season practically no more.

His enormous training industry which has helped him to his previous constant rise, he explained by saying that he " saw as the only way " the football have to extract his family from the "everyday drudgery and misery ." His younger brother Sophian played since 2011 also for Stade Rennes.

On January 23, 2013 M'Vila joined the Russian first division club Rubin Kazan. He signed a contract with a term until 30 June 2017.

National players

Yann M'Vila can boast a two-digit number of inserts in the French U -17 and U-19 teams and also played on several occasions for the U -21 ( espoir ). With the junior team, he has participated in the finals of several major international tournaments ( U-17 European Championship and U -17 World Cup 2007 as well, as captain, at the U-19 European Championship 2009).

In May 2010, coach Raymond Domenech called him in the provisional French senior national squad for the World Cup in South Africa. The required reduction squad on May 17 but Domenech highlighted the defensive player back from his squad. For this he was the debut of Domenech 's successor, Laurent Blanc on 11 August 2010 against Norway even in the starting lineup.
