Yao Lei

Yao Lei (born 24 February 1990 in Jiangsu ) is a Singaporean badminton player who particularly excels in doubles and in mixed doubles. Her first international success was the bronze medal with the national team in the team competition of the Junior World Cup 2007 in New Zealand Waitakere. Less than a month after they won the double formation on the side of her who was born in Indonesia Country Shinta Mulia Sari woman with the Vietnam Open Grand Prix tournament her first. Just over a year later, she won her second tournament victory in November 2008, when she won the doubles title with Fu Mingtian at the Junior World Championships in Pune, India. A few weeks later, she was a member of the Singapore team which won the silver medal at the Southeast Asian Games.

The Badminton World Championship, the duo failed in the third round, but won in the same year at the South East Asia Games silver medal. Singapore secured beyond the drtten place the team classification. The year 2010 became the most successful in performance career. Together with sari, she won four tournaments - at the Romanian International, she was also in mixed success. In June, the two get in a week wins at the India Open and the Singapore Open. It was their respective first Grand Prix gold and BWF Super Series title. The latter in particular was remarkable, as they were eliminated in the previous year in the first round. Both were cheered wildly in the city-state, as they were the first victorious Singaporeans ever in the history of the tournament. The duo was conducted in March 2010 at number 23, number 19 in June and in September at number 10 in the women's doubles world ranking. With Chayut Triyachart Lei stood in mixed mid-September to 16th place
