History

The first years

Yashin was founded in 2006 in the Scottish city of Glasgow from the two school friends Paul Travers ( guitar) and Andrew McShane (bass guitar). Shortly thereafter met with Michael Rice ( vocals), David Beaton (drums) and Lewis Millen (guitar) additional members to Yashin.

Through its two -released EPs Pay to Play (2007) and Miles Away But Getting Closer (2008), the Group achieved national notoriety in the hardcore punk scene. In October 2008, Rice left the band singer. The group found in an open trial in the American Harry Radford and a native of Glasgow, Kevin Miles, two new singers.

In April 2009, Yashin toured together with Madina Lake and The Audition through the UK and Europe, before the group retired in November for work on her debut album.

Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them

On 1 February 2010, the group released their debut album, Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them, which was added by Romesh Dodangoda ( Funeral for a Friend, Kids in Glass Houses and The Blackout ) in the Long Wave Studios in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff and Tema International has been published.

Following several appearances followed: First, in March, a headlining tour with Glamour of the Kill, and then a 21 -concert tour in September. In December Yashin played as the opening act of the American band Emarosa on their UK tour. On 31 January 2011 the group had a concert opening act for A Day to Remember at the O2 Academy in Glasgow.

In March 2011, Yashin played as support band of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on their tour of England. In June, the group had an appearance on the Download Festival and at the Nova Rock in Austria, as well as a joint performance with the band Korn. 2011 Yashin was opening for Papa Roach and Black Veil Brides. 2012 toured the group in the context of The Last One Standing Tour again by the United Kingdom.
