Yavuz Özkan (footballer)

Yavuz Özkan (born 19 May 1985 in Denizli) is a Turkish football goalkeeper.

Playing career

Özkan began in the youth team Denizlispor with football. In 2004 he received his first professional contract with Denizli Belediyespor. There Yavuz spent two years as goalkeeper. The first division side Bursaspor became aware of him and signed him in 2006. His first game for Bursa graduated from the goalkeeper in the 2006/07 season against Galatasaray.

During the winter break of the season 2007/ 08 he was awarded for half a season at Tarsus Idman Yurdu.

For the second half of the season 2012/13 he was loaned for the rest of the season in the second division Adanaspor. A return to Bursaspor not followed. Özkan joined free transfer to the second division Şanlıurfaspor.

Here he came only once in the cup for use. During winter break 2013/14, he signed a contract with his boyhood club Denizlispor.
