Yobes Ondieki

Yobes Ondieki ( born February 21, 1961 in Kisii, Nyanza Province) is a Kenyan athlete, and was the first person who completed the 10,000 meters under 27 minutes.

One of his biggest success Ondieki in 5000 - meter race of the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo. There he won the gold medal. In 13:14,45 minutes, he also made it to a new championship record. In the same year he presented 13:01,82 minutes his best time over this distance on.
