Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō

Yokohama Kaidashi Kiko (Japaneseヨコハマ 買い出し 紀行, translates as " Yokohama Shopping Diary " ) is a completed manga series of the Japanese signatory Hitoshi Ashinano. It comprises over 2,000 pages and was first published in 1994. Yokohama Kaidashi Kiko appeared in Japan from April 1994 to February 2006 in individual chapters in the monthly manga magazine Afternoon, in which, among other things, Mohiro Kitohs Naru Taru and Kosuke Fujishimas Oh! My Goddess were published. In the July 2006 issue of Afternoon also a six -page epilogue was published with the title Touge. The Kodansha publishing summarized these 140 individual chapters together in 14 anthologies. Between October 2009 and July 2010, a new edition appeared in 10 anthologies, containing in contrast to the first edition and the epilogue Togue.

The manga was also in Taiwan, South Korea published (as Café Alpha ) and Hong Kong. Outside of Asia, Yokohama Kaidashi Kiko has not yet been released.

In September 1997, the Kodansha publishing house brought out a book of postcards to the manga series, was released in March 2003, which consists of 143 pages artbook Kaidashi Yokohama Kiko - Ashinano Hitoshi Gashu (ヨコハマ 買い出し 紀行·芦奈野ひとし 画集).

Films

There are two different implementations of the anime manga series. The first was released in Japan in May and December 1998 in the form of a two-part original video animation on VHS and laserdisc, but is now also available on DVD. Hitoshi Ashinano won with the 20-page prologue of Yokohama Kiko Kaidashi 1994 Afternoon Shiki - Price, assigned from Afternoon magazine award for young artist.
