Yumen City

The city of Yumen (玉门市, Yumen Shì ) is a county-level city in the prefecture-level city of Jiuquan in Gansu province. In 1999, she counted 199 811 inhabitants. Its area covers 13,500 km ². Capital is the greater community Yumen玉门 镇.

The Yumen City should not be with her namesake, the Yumenguan or " Jade Gate Pass " in Dunhuang, confused.

The Huoshaogou - site ( Huoshaogou Yizhi ) from the early Chinese Bronze Age standing since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-206 ).

In the community Changma 1932 was the epicenter of a major earthquake.
