Yuriy Kryvoruchko

Yuri Kryworutschko (Ukrainian Юрій Криворучко, born December 19, 1986 in Lviv ) is a Ukrainian chess master.

Kryworutschko learned to play chess at age seven, his first coach was Yevgeny Ivanovich Lysenko, later trained him Jurij Priwalow, since 2000 is his coach Vladimir Grabinski. Kryworutschko ended in 2008 to study at the Faculty of Mechanical- Mathematical National Ivan Franko University of Lviv.

Kryworutschko conquered or occupied top positions in many tournaments: 1st place in the Open Независимость ( German independence ) in Lviv ( 2003), 3rd place in the Ukrainian U-20 Youth Championship in Lviv ( 2003), 3rd place in the U- 18 European Championship in Urgup (2004 ), 2nd place in the Ukrainian U-18 Junior Cup in Lvov (2004 ), 1 -2. Place at the Open in Olomouc ( 2005), 1st place in the 2nd Balagne Open in Calvi (2005 ), 3rd place at the 38th Rubinstein Memorial (2006 ), 1st place at the GM tournament in Olomouc in 2006, 1st place at the Ukrainian U-20 youth Championship in Lviv ( 2006), 3rd place in the U -20 World Championship in Yerevan (2006), 9th place at the European Championships in Plovdiv at with an Elo performance of 2726, 4th place Open in Cappelle- la -Grande (2008 ) with an Elo performance of 2735, 3rd place in the Open in Paleochora (2008), 2nd place in the Open in Reykjavik (2009 ), 3rd place with the Ukrainian national team at 17. European Championship in Novi Sad ( 2009), 2nd place in the Open in Cappelle- la -Grande (2010) and 1st place in the Open in Paleochora (2010). In June 2013 he won the national championship of Ukraine to fine- rating before the point Ruslan Ponomariov same.

In the chess Bundesliga since the 2011/2012 season he played for Sportfreunde Katernberg.

Kryworutschko carries since 2004 the title of International Master, he was awarded the Grandmaster title in 2006.
