Zach Gilford
Zach Gilford ( born January 14, 1982 in Evanston, Illinois) is an American actor who is known in the critically acclaimed NBC television series Friday Night Lights primarily for his role as Matt Saracen.
Life
Zach Gilford grew up with his father Steve, his mother Anne and two sisters north of Chicago, in Evanston. He attended Evanston Township to 2000, the high school where his mother works. Subsequently, he studied until 2004 at the Northwestern University Education and Performing Arts. He then moved to New York to pursue his acting career. There Gilford had in 2005 with a guest appearance on the television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit his television debut. A year later, he made his feature film debut with the film The Last Winter, who received a nomination for the Gotham Award for Best Acting Ensemble.
At an audition in New York for the then-new NBC television series Friday Night Lights Gilford spoke originally ago for Tim Riggins. In Los Angeles, he was later asked to audition for the role of Matt Saracen, he received eventually. The football series Friday Night Lights is considered by critics and received several Emmy nominations and awards. Until the third season Gilford Teiil was the main occupation of the series, in the following two seasons, he still had a few guest appearances.
After the end of Friday Night Lights Gilford in 2011 received a starring role as Dr. Tommy Fuller in the Doctors series Off the Map. The ABC television series but was discontinued after a short season with 13 episodes. Even the Fox hospital drama The Mob Doctor, in the Gilford starred in a lead role as Dr. Brett Robinson from 2012 to 2013, ended after 13 episodes. In 2014 he co-starred with Allison Miller in the horror movie Devil 's Due - Felsworn.
In December 2011, Zach Gilford engaged to actress Kiele Sanchez, a year later they married. The two met in 2010 on the set of failed ABC pilot movie The Matadors know.
