Zakaria Labyad

Zakaria Labyad (* 9 March 1993 in Utrecht ) is a Moroccan- Dutch footballer who plays for the Portuguese first division side Sporting Lisbon plays since 2012, up to date, however, in the Netherlands at Vitesse Arnhem is borrowed.

Association

Labyad began with the juniors of UPS Elinkwijk in his hometown Utrecht play with the football. In 2004 he moved at the age of eleven years in the youth department of PSV Eindhoven.

National

With the Dutch team Labyad took part in the U- 17 World Cup Nigeria 2009. He played in all three group games against Colombia, Gambia and Iran. After just one win from their three matches, the Netherlands was eliminated after the group stage.

After he had already denied some games for the Dutch U-19 National Team, is Labyad decided in 2010, the future for Morocco, the homeland of his parents aground. In early February 2011, he was appointed for the first time in the squad of the Moroccan U-23 squad for the match against Burkina Faso.
