2011–12 KNVB Cup

The competition for the KNVB Cup of the season 2011/12 was the 94th edition of the competition for the KNVB beker called Dutch football cup Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbal under the direction of Bond. Defending champion was the FC Twente.

A total of 92 teams take part in the competition. In addition to the 18 teams in each of the two professional leagues Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie that are set for the second round, these were the 32 third division from the top echelon as well as a further 24 amateur representative.

All clubs from the professional football went into this round. Teams that were in a European cup competition, could not be drawn against each other. Amateur clubs had home advantage when they were drawn against a professional club.
