Zakia Mrisho Mohamed
Zakia Mrisho ( Zakia Mrisho Mohamed, born 19 February 1984 in Singida ) is a Tanzanian long-distance runner.
In 2005 she won the Course Féminine de Casablanca and was about 5000 m at the Sixth World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.
About the same distance it was the year after eighth at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, but resigned at the World Championships in Osaka and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in the run- off.
At the World Championships in Berlin in 2009, she came in the 5000m at 15th place. In 2010 she won the South Tyrolean Spring Half Marathon and the Grand Prix of Prague.
Zakia Mrisho is 1.65 meters tall and weighs 45 kg. It is run by Demadonna Athletics.
