Závišice

Závišice ( German Sawersdorf ) is a place in Okres Nový Jičín in the region Moravian-Silesian Region (Czech Republic).

History

The first written record comes from the year 1354.

Middle of the 13th century the village the property of Knight Siegfried, who received it as a reward for helping with the reconstruction of the castle Old Titschein and the construction of the castle Hukvaldy of Arnold of Hückeswagen. Siegfried could create a rock festivals in the village. 1256 divided the Olomouc bishops the village into two districts. Sub - Sawersdorf became the property of the diocese, top Sawersdorf remained in the hands of the previous owner. Later, the lands belonged to the lords of in-fill, Vikštejn, Sedlnitzky, the Puklinové of Pozořice, the Schwarzenbergers, the Lords of Auspitz and those Fulnek. Sub - Sawersdorf was handed over by the diocese to different men as a fief.

In 1554 the town was again divided into large -sale wit as a fief and small -sale wit as Erbeigentum. During this time, the fort was abandoned and lost its importance. 1839 bistümliche property was sold to the residents due to an Emperor Decree, 1850, the two villages were united again.
