Zbraslavec

Zbraslavec ( German Braslawetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers south of Kunstat and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Zbraslavec located at the eastern foot of the Nedvědička Highlands. The village is situated at the confluence of the creek Petrůvka or Petrovský Potok brook in the Kamínkovský which is then referred to as Umori. To the north rises the Štrobůj Kopec ( 474 m), in the northeast of Chlum (511 m ) east of the Hůry (470 m) and in the west the Kamínky ( 548 m). Zbraslavec is located on the southeastern border of the nature park Halasovo Kunštátsko, southwestward extends Lysicko Nature Park.

Neighboring towns are Kunstat, Újezd ​​and Podchlumí in the north, Sebranice in the northeast, Voděrady in the east, Drnovice the southeast, Lysice and Záoboří in the south, Lhota u Lysic the southwest, Kunice in the west and Hluboké u Kunštátu, Touboř and Víska in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of belonging to the reign Kunstadt villages Zbraslavec and Marti Nova Ves place in the year 1374th Marti Nova Ves went back later in the corridors of the village was the manorial farm and the mill Víska. In the course of time, changed the name of locality, since the 16th century the village as Braslavec and Braslawetz, 1674 was referred to as Braslavice. The village consisted of 16 houses in 1674, 6 of which were uninhabited. 1790 lived 226 people in 34 houses of Braslavec. 1834 had 248 inhabitants of the village. Until the mid-19th century Braslavec always remained subservient to Kunstat. Because of the less productive soils, the inhabitants earned their living by working in the forestry and native flax processing. In Braslavec worked three mills and a sawmill. After the discovery of a vast Kaolinlagers on Hůry originated in Braslavec potteries. A part of the raw material was delivered in Kunstat the potters. Gepfarrt was Braslavec always Kunstat.

After the replacement of the Patromonialherrschaften Braslavec formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice. During this time, the road of Kunstat arose after Lysice. 1890 the community had 332 inhabitants, in 1900 there were 322 After the flood of 1898, the ruined chapel of St was. John of Nepomuk demolished and built in the years that followed, a new magnificent chapel. 1909 was a one-class village school. In 1923 the change of the municipality name in Zbraslavec was. 1938 lived 276 people in Zbraslavec.
