Žďár nad Orlicí

Zdar nad Orlicí ( German fire ad eagle) is a municipality with 436 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north-west of Borohrádek in 257 m asl and belongs to the Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou.

Geography

The creek flowing through it from Žďárský place is located on the left bank of the silent eagle which an abundant kilometers north combines with the Wild Eagle to Eagle. The districts Chotiv and Svetla between two rivers on the left bank of the Wild Eagle, the latter at the confluence.

Neighboring towns are Nová Ves in the northwest, north and ALBRECHTICEAlbrechtice Borohrádek in the southeast.

History

The first written mention of the town was 1342.

Community structure

To the municipality of Zdar nad Orlicí include the districts Chotiv ( Chotiw ) and Svetla ( light background) and the hamlet of Horni Zdar.
