Zoe Haas

Zoë Haas ( born January 24, 1962 in Calgary, Alberta) is a former Swiss ski racer.

The Canadian-born Swiss belonged for many years to the best ski racers in the disciplines of Downhill, Giant Slalom and Super -G. In her career, she was able to win two World Cup races: With start number 37, the departure of Puy Saint -Vincent (1984) and the # 24 Super -G Lech (1988). As Bestergebnis is in the giant slalom, a 2nd place to book: Berchtesgaden (1982 ) behind Christin Cooper.

In the World Ski Championships 1991 in Saalbach -Hinterglemm she missed the Super-G in fourth a medal scarce. In their last World Cup race, the super -G at Crans- Montana, she finished in March 1992 behind Carole Merle and Merete Fjeldavlie the 3rd place.

The Secret Garden has thus announced that she had stuck to her helmet a big sticker in the form of a fried egg. This should better recognize their parents in television broadcasts of races. In the later years of her career she refrained and replaced the egg by a " Zoe " lettering.
