1979–80 Serie A (ice hockey) season
The 1979/80 season was the 46th season of the series A1, the highest Italian Hockey League. Champion for the third time in club history the HC Gherdeina.
Mode
First, the seven teams contested a common main round. The top four teams qualified for the final round, in which the Master was played. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
