1995 CECAFA Cup
The twenty-first edition of the CECAFA Cup, officially Palmares 1995 CECAFA Championship, took place from 26 November to December 1995 in Uganda instead. Eight Central and Eastern African teams played for the title of Eastern and Central Africa champion. The Zanzibari national football team won their first title.
Game Mode
The eight participating teams from 7 different countries played in two groups of four teams. The runners-up played against the group winners of the other group in the semifinals. The two semi-final winners play in the final for the title. The semifinal losers played for 3rd place
